Now back in episode 8 I promised to take you guys to a special place and that special place is Coppal House Farm in Lee New Hampshire. Quick fun fact – Lee NH was settled in 1657!

Anyway, I’ve been meaning to go check out their sunflower festival for the past 2 years but I didn’t make an effort. It only lasts for about a week and believe me with a real feel temperature of 100 degrees it would have been easy to stay home!

Going in I had a few photo ideas I wanted to do but with the angle of the sun and the breeze it wasn’t feasible. But luckily I had my macro lens with me and I’m happy to report I got my first decent close up macro pictures of bees! It may not sound like a big deal but shooting macro photography is really hard and if you’re in a place where there aren’t many insects – it just makes it that much harder.

I would have loved to use the song Let’s Go Sunning by Jack Shaindlin but I don’t have permission – but it would have been the PERFECT SONG! Look it up when you get a chance so you can see what I’m talking about.

On a final note I just hit 1,000 followers on Steemit. It’s not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things – but it’s cool nonetheless!

Thanks for your support!
